Property building in Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Sapporo
Hotel is quite new. Breakfast is great with d.i.y. seafood bowl made from fresh shrimp, salmon, scallop, squid, fish roe. Room is clean. Bed is comfy. Location is near Sapporo JR St. From the JR station, follow the sign to Namboku line subway and take the escalator down to underground town. Keep walking until you see Delifrance/McDonald on your right. Next to it, is a glass door to Noasis 3.4, go inside and when you find Ootoya, take the escalator up at the front of Ootoya. From there, go out the building via the hall way. You are now on street level. Turn left, walk towards the intersection, you will be able to see the Solaria hotel from there. During cold weather and snowy slippery road, you will appreciate this underground town/walkway as it keeps you warm and easier with your luggages. The hotel provide pyjamas to be used at their public bath, but you can use it for sleeping too. The hotel also have washing machine with dryer using 100yen coins (600 yen for 3kg), you can use the fending machine if you dont have enough coins. They both located at B1.

Location is OK, its not far from the exit D-Liveplace** (if you use google map its always guide you through JR station exit at Daimaru) and underground walk is really help in winter its can direct you to Odori, Susukino and Tanukikoji by walk or train. The location near JR station is really great for you to transport to nearby town such as Otaru or to the airport and there are many shops and restaurants all the way in Underground walk. The hotel system on TV shown status of Onsen whether it crowd or vacant and the Onsen (even I think its not really mineral water like really Onsen in outskirt) its still great and have the same function. The lodge style room have separated toilet and bathroom. Hotel have Microwave and vender machine on B1 floor.

The staffs were really helpful and attentive. None of them has ever shown any signs of rudeness and they try so hard to communicate with you although their English is moderately good. The place is so central and near to Sapporo grand station and Daimaru and distance away from Odori park and all major shopping locations. The hotel is situated right by the old Government office by the way! The breakfast was fantastic with a spacious dining room so, one can never feel cramp. Salmon roe (Ikura Don) was also available for breakfast so, it’s all worth the pay for breakfast course at the hotel. Olsen was also amazing.

Fabulous breakfast with lots of choices. We made sashimi bowls each morning. Eggs, bacon, breakfast sausages, salad, fruit, French toast, and ice cream. Not crowded during our stay. Room was a little small but with comfortable bed and nice shower. Coin operated combo washer/dryer - 3 in men’s onsen and 4 in women’s onsen with on screen progress on room TV. Front staff helpful with nearby restaurant recommendations that were all very good. Location is about 2 blocks south and 2 blocks west of train station.

The hotel was super close to Sapporo Station, which was a huge plus. The room was like a little cabin in the woods, and I loved the cozy vibe. It was spacious, clean, and quiet too. The public bath was awesome - big, clean, and the water was just the right temperature. But the breakfast was the real winner. There were so many options to choose from, and being able to make my own seafood donburi was the cherry on top!
